Dave Tooley
Dave is a huge motorsport enthusiast and has been for many years. He started racing at the age of 12 in 1978, in the Junior Britain class. He competed in many other classes throughout his career, including KZ1, Senior TKM, 100 National, and 100B which is the KF2 of today. In all of these categories he competed against the likes of: David Coulthard, Allan McNish, Johnny Herbert, Dario Franchitti and many more. Throughout this period Dave gained invaluable experience, which he went on to utilise in helping his son Andrew Tooley pursue a racing career in karting. Dave specialises in engine and carburettor maintenance for the majority of the current classes, including carburettor work for World and British Champions, these include Benjy Russell (Rotax World Champion 2007) and his son Andrew (British Kart GP Champion 2007).

Andrew (Drew) Tooley
Andrew gained race craft and knowledge in the Comer Cadet class from the age of 8, moving on to use these experiences in the junior and senior categories. In Mini Max he finished 5th in British Championship winning many of the races along the way. Junior Max followed, again with numerous championship victories culiminating in the British Championship Runner-Up. In 2007 Andrew won the British Kart GP. He has excellent understanding of kart enginerring and set-ups due to his wealth of experience, and therefore relates extremely well to any problems drivers may have, and crucially how to go about correcting them.

Tooley Motorsport has a dedicated team of experienced mechanics. These are assigned to drivers personally, as it creates a greater depth of understanding and trust within the partnership(s). As a side note, any person or persons wishing to get involved in the exciting world of karting - especially with Tooley Motorsport - are most welcome to get in touch and have a chat.
