Tooley Motorsport was founded near the end of 2007. The team started due to Andrew Tooley having to stop racing due to medical reasons. The team originated at Tooley Motorsport's local race track, Rowrah, 2008 being the first competitive season. Andrew and David Tooley ran the awning under the dealership name of ST Racing (Stewart Tooley Racing), and produced a British Champion in their first year which immediately gave the team a great pedigree.

The team has high hopes for the future, and with their current crop of talented young drivers, these hopes could well become a reality.
